I am a native North Carolinian I was born and raised in Rocky Mount, I attended and graduated from Elon College where I met my wife. We moved to the triangle area, and now have son, who amazes me everyday.
I majored in accounting which has proven to be a great background to have while owning your own business. I realized my true calling drew me to the home building industry. I have been building homes for families for over 10 years.
I have learned that custom home building can be an emotional process for most home buyers. I enjoy helping buyers through the building process, therefore I am a hands on builder. I have an open door policy with my homeowners, and keep them involved in each stage of the construction of their new house I find it is important to continue this process after my homeowner’s move in so that I may better suit their needs in turning their new house into their new home.
In 2006 I entered the Wake county Parade of Homes and won the bronze medal for my design, Ted’s Playhouse. It was a great experience and I look forward to participating in the Parade for years to come. I was honored to receive the Builder of Integrity award from Quality Builders Warranty in 2007 and believe integrity is the only way to achieve success in this very competitive business.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. Feel free to call me so that we may sit down and discuss your ideas for your new home. Quality, integrity, and teamwork are what make the custom construction process work for everyone. I would be privileged for you and your family to become an ever-growing member of the J. Scott Builder family.
